1. Operator and acceptance
Receptionistant is currently operated by an individual sole proprietor in Albania. By creating an account, purchasing or using the service, or authorizing someone to use it for a business, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. Service description
Receptionistant provides software and configured AI-assisted workflows for handling inbound business calls, applying business rules, collecting caller information, qualifying service requests, creating leads and appointments, supporting escalation, and presenting related records in an authenticated workspace. Available functionality depends on the selected plan, configuration, provider availability, and product stage.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, restrict access to authorized users, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining accurate business and user information.
4. Business configuration and customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of services, hours, prices, service areas, qualification rules, safety instructions, transfer destinations, escalation paths, scheduling rules, and other configuration supplied to Receptionistant. You must review the configuration before relying on it and update it when your business changes.
You remain responsible for customer service, professional judgment, emergency handling, appointment fulfillment, employee and contractor actions, and compliance with laws that apply to your calls, customers, marketing, recordings, and business.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Receptionistant to break the law; mislead or impersonate others; harass, threaten, discriminate, or defraud; place or facilitate unlawful calls; collect information without a lawful basis; interfere with the service; bypass security or access controls; probe another customer’s workspace; introduce malicious code; or use the service for emergency dispatch where a failure could create immediate risk to life or safety.
6. Telephony, AI, and third-party providers
The service depends on third-party telecommunications, hosting, AI, calendar, network, and other providers. Their availability, routing, latency, policies, and technical limits may affect the service. Receptionistant does not control public telephone networks or third-party platforms. Carrier charges, number ownership, porting, call-recording rules, and provider terms may also apply.
AI-generated conversations and classifications can be incomplete or incorrect. Receptionistant is a workflow tool, not professional, emergency, legal, medical, or safety advice. Businesses must set appropriate human escalation and review processes.
7. Google Calendar integration
If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize Receptionistant to identify the connected account, list calendars, inspect availability, and create, update, or cancel appointment events on the selected calendar. You are responsible for selecting the correct calendar and ensuring that connected users have authority to authorize access. You may disconnect the integration through Receptionistant settings or manage access through your Google Account.
8. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes
Paid access is billed according to the plan and billing interval presented when you subscribe or otherwise agree to purchase. You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Taxes, telecommunications charges, and usage-dependent charges may apply when disclosed in the applicable order or checkout terms.
Unless separate written terms state otherwise, subscriptions continue for the agreed billing period until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not erase charges already incurred. Any refund right will be the right expressly shown at purchase or required by applicable law; these terms do not create an additional refund promise.
9. Customer data and intellectual property
You retain rights in business configuration and customer data you lawfully provide. You grant Receptionistant the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that data to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed for the data and instructions you provide.
Receptionistant and its underlying software, design, branding, documentation, and service materials remain the property of the operator or applicable licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes during an active account.
10. Service changes and availability
We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law or provider requirements, improve the product, or respond to operational constraints. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage, uninterrupted service, or a service-level guarantee unless a separate signed agreement expressly provides one.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel according to the applicable account or subscription process. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, unlawful or harmful use, security risk, material breach, provider restriction, or when continued operation is not reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Receptionistant is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that every call will connect, every statement or classification will be correct, every appointment will be completed, or third-party services will remain available.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or service interruption arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer or other local law applies. Courts with jurisdiction in Albania will have jurisdiction over disputes unless applicable mandatory law requires another forum. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute directly.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
For terms, account, or service questions, use the support channel provided with your Receptionistant account. Prospective users may use the Book a demo page to request the operator’s current contact details. See also the Privacy Policy.
